Experiencing art is a choice.
We can ignore it and take it for granted or we can enrich our lives and create an appreciation of the art we live with.
2019 Artist in Residence
During the three day residency, Nancy did a Raku firing with all of the high school students and a hand building workshops with junior high and elementary students. She instructed the high school how to glaze the pieces they created and the raku firing process itself. Below are two links where the history of Raku can be read and a youtube video that can be watched that is an example of the process that was done. Included are images of our day.
